El archivo se articula en dos partes testimonios anónimos y entrevistas.

A través de breves confesiones anónimas, los habitantes expresan los sentimientos de miedo que les provoca su ciudad. Estos testimonios se recogen durante:1- eventos públicos en los que los participantes se expresan de manera espontánea y 2-talleres realizados en barrios concretos o dirigidos a grupos menos representados.

Los testimonios se recopilan mediante acciones colectivas dinamizadas por dispositivos urbanos diseñados para la activación de confianza y a veces diversión de los individuos encuestados.

Paralelamente se recorre la ciudad realizando entrevistas a distintos agentes que actúan, trabajan o reflexionan sobre ella, como arquitectos, sociólogos, activistas, artistas, políticos (etc.) y cuyo trabajo se cruza con los testimonios de los habitantes. Las entrevistas tienen el formato de mensajes de audio o de conversaciones de café y se graban en espacios públicos mediante teléfonos móviles. El ruido de la ciudad contextualiza el discurso en el momento de su enunciación.


By means of brief, anonymous confessions, the city inhabitants express their fears in respect to their urban context. Said testimonies are collected during 1. Public events in which participants collaborate spontaneously and 2. Workshops designed for selected communities or marginalized social groups.

Collective and dynamic interventions provide a platform for gathering testimonies and our recording equipment is frequently designed to facilitate a relationship of trust and excitement.

Parallel to the anonymous confessions, our archive offers interviews from experts in different fields that speak to and from people’s direct experience, including architecture, sociology, activism, art, politics, among others. Either by way of audio message or coffee table conversations, every interview is recorded through a smartphone and usually includes city background noise.  Such noise provides context in the discussion at the moment of its enunciation.
